Graham Cooke: Perspective, thinking, and language: all those three things need to change in order for your identity to be developed.

Life in the spirit is about practicing who you are. You cannot develop your identity unless three things change. First of all, your perspective of yourself needs to change. You need to agree with God. “This is how God seems me, and then this is how I’m going to see myself.” Your perspective needs to change. When your perspective changes, then your thinking needs to change as well. Everything you do and think is in line with that perspective. Finally, your language needs to change. How you talk about yourself needs to change. Perspective, thinking, and language: all those three things need to change in order for your identity to be developed.
